Living on the Lake Huron shore isn't easy. This bent over willow tree has survived rising lake levels, persistent strong wind and waves and ice storms. It is a symbol of staying strong and rooted in difficult times.

Painted with encaustic and with embedded copper pieces, this 18X18 inch piece is the largest in the series, honouring this iconic tree on the Lake Huron shoreline in Goderich, Ontario.
