This is a high energy bird
with dragon fire coming out the tail
transforming into
the sun drenched wheat
growing in farmer's fields
as the festival begins in August.
It is an image for the Celtic holiday
Lammas or Lughnasadh
the celebration of first harvest.
Our Celtic rooster is standing on the sun—
calling us to wake up.
It is time to celebrate!
