The 2027 Celtic Animals Calendar features original artwork created for the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival. Each animal is paired with a short, hand-written intention for the month, taken from the animal's artist notes that I write each year. I hope you will think of the calendar as a seasonal companion as well as a piece of art on your wall that shifts with the turning months, grounded in story and symbol.

The story behind it
This calendar grew out of years of creating art for the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival, where I was a founding board member when it began in 1993, and initiated a series that is now at 34 images. This artwork has always been about more than decoration — it's pattern and story woven together, created to inspire our community gathering each year.
Each animal in this calendar carries its own collection of Celtic symbolism and story, chosen intentionally for each month.
